Job Description

Job Type: Part-time during the introductory period with opportunity to transition to full-time

Work Location: Hybrid

Schedule: Set working hours to be discussed during the interview process

Compensation: Starting at $18.00 - $25.00 per hour

Blacktable Execs is a remote, execution-focused Project Management firm. We help businesses operate with clarity, structure, and consistency through strong systems, accountability, and follow-through. Our team works directly with business owners to manage the execution that they cannot or should not be handling themselves. 

We are seeking an Account Manager in Phoenix, AZ who can take ownership of a portfolio of client accounts, develop new business, manage internal coordination, and ensure work is delivered accurately, on time, and to high quality standards.

This role is not entry-level.

Essential functions and duties: 

  • Understand the individual client needs and translate this into actionable targets using company systems.
  • Plan, delegate, and track targets across internal service zones.
  • Manage a portfolio of assigned client accounts.
  • Ensure weekly deliverable hour quotas are met for each client.
  • Maintain consistent, professional communication with your seniors, service zone leads, and clients. 
  • Complete administrative reporting accurately and on time.
  • Maintain organized records, notes, and documentation. 
  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures. 
  • Operate in a way that protects the company’s interests at all times.
  • Work towards elevating the value and status of clients without compromising the company's risk.
  • Proactively identify issues and drive them to resolution. 
  • Take on tasks clients cannot or will not manage themselves and see them through to completion. 
  • Continuously work to improve your value to the company and its clients.
  • Ability to accurately follow instructions.

The qualifications for this job are: 

  • Minimum of 3 years experience in account management, project management, operations, or high-responsibility administrative roles.
  • Strong time management, organization, and planning abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities without constant direction. 
  • High regard for personal responsibility and accountability.
  • High level of attention to detail and follow-through.
  • Clear, professional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proactive problem-solving mindset. 
  • Comfortable working with metrics, reporting, and demonstrating accountability. 
  • Must enjoy administrative and coordination work. 
  • Must speak English fluently. 
  • Must have and maintain uninterrupted internet access. 
  • Must have a reliable computer.
  • Proficiency with Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Gmail, Calendar) and Zoom.

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to sit for extended periods working at a computer (with periodic breaks).
  • Must be able to use a phone and computer consistently. 
  • Specific vision ability required by this job includes the ability to remain focused on a computer screen for extended periods of time. 
  • Must be alert and available during agreed-upon working hours. 

Education:

  • Must have a High School Education or GED.

Experience:

  • Must have at least 3 years of relevant work experience as outlined above.
  • Must be efficient in G-suite as a primary workspace.

License / Certification:

  • None required at this time.
