Job Description

Account Manager – Talent & Influencer Relations

Location: Los Angeles

MVPR is hiring an Account Manager – Talent & Influencer Relations to join our Los Angeles team.

This role offers the opportunity to work with global fashion, accessories, beauty, and lifestyle brands, lead talent and influencer strategy, and drive high-impact cultural moments across celebrity, VIP, and digital landscapes.

The role is ideal for someone with a strong foundation in talent and influencer relations who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about building brand visibility through culturally relevant storytelling and partnerships.

About MVPR

MVPR is a leading fashion, beauty, and lifestyle communications agency with offices in New York and Los Angeles. We specialize in building culturally relevant, high-impact PR strategies that drive visibility, elevate brands, and connect them to the people and moments that matter most.

Our team works closely with emerging and established global brands across fashion, accessories, beauty, and lifestyle categories to deliver thoughtful storytelling, strategic press coverage, and culturally relevant brand moments.

About the Role

MVPR is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Account Manager to join our Los Angeles office in a hybrid Talent & Press Relations role.

This position focuses on both influencer/VIP relations and press outreach — leading talent placement, gifting initiatives, and partnership opportunities, alongside securing editorial coverage across fashion and lifestyle media.

The Account Manager will work closely with senior leadership to execute integrated communications strategies, manage key relationships across talent and media, and oversee day-to-day execution across multiple client accounts.

Responsibilities

  • Lead day-to-day influencer and VIP outreach, including talent seeding, gifting initiatives, and partnership coordination
  • Build and maintain relationships with influencers, stylists, talent managers, agents, editors, and industry contacts
  • Develop and execute integrated PR and influencer strategies aligned with client goals and cultural moments
  • Coordinate and manage gifting programs, paid partnerships, and red carpet opportunities
  • Manage paid influencer and talent partnerships end-to-end, including negotiation, deliverables, usage, and reporting
  • Execute press outreach across fashion, lifestyle, and digital publications to secure strategic coverage
  • Draft and distribute press materials including pitches, media alerts, and press releases
  • Track influencer placements and editorial coverage; oversee reporting and campaign recaps
  • Manage sample trafficking through Launchmetrics (or similar platform), including stylist pulls, loans, check-ins, and returns
  • Oversee showroom operations, including appointments, stylist relations, and talent fittings
  • Support event execution, including VIP attendance, press moments, and on-site coordination
  • Monitor industry trends, editorial calendars, and cultural moments to identify timely opportunities
  • Mentor and support junior team members and interns
  • Contribute to client strategy development, reporting, and campaign recaps

Qualifications

  • 4+ years of public relations, talent relations, or influencer marketing experience within fashion, beauty, or lifestyle (agency experience preferred)
  • Strong experience managing influencer and talent relationships, including paid partnerships
  • Proven ability to secure talent placements across red carpets, events, and digital campaigns
  • Existing relationships with stylists, influencers, talent managers, and/or media contacts
  • Experience with affiliate platforms (ShopMy, LTK, etc.) is a plus
  • Strong press pitching experience and understanding of editorial calendars
  • Experience managing sample trafficking and showroom operations (Launchmetrics preferred)
  • Excellent written, verbal, and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple clients and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Highly detail-oriented, proactive, and solutions-driven
  • Passion for fashion, media, and cultural storytelling
  • Team-oriented with strong accountability

Compensation & Benefits

Salary range: $70,000 – $90,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications.

Benefits include:

  • Health benefits
  • 401(k) eligibility
  • Paid time off
  • Professional growth opportunities
  • Collaborative work environment across New York and Los Angeles teams
  • Exposure to leading global fashion and lifestyle brands
  • Opportunities to participate in events and industry activations
