We are seeking a dynamic Account Manager to grow and maintain our customer base across North Carolina. This role combines field work, consultative selling, and relationship building. If you thrive on driving sales, making a real impact, and meeting with current and prospective clients while traveling 2–3 days per week, we want to hear from you. We are a fast-growing, mission-driven company serving a diverse range of Green Industry clients, including agriculture, landscaping, site and commercial construction, and soil blending. Our organic bulk products—compost, soils, and related materials—support sustainable projects throughout the United States.
Required Qualifications:
Candidates must have proven sales experience in one or more of the following industries:
Horticulture
Seed or fertilizer
Landscaping
Construction
Tractor or equipment sales
Experience within the Green Industry is highly desirable.
What You’ll Do
Manage the full sales cycle—from lead generation through closing—for organic residuals, compost, soils, and other bulk products.
Maintain and grow existing customer accounts while executing targeted sales and marketing strategies.
Build strong relationships with business owners and key decision-makers.
Collaborate with internal teams and subcontractors to coordinate logistics and ensure successful project delivery.
Prepare and deliver proposals, presentations, and responses to RFPs/RFQs.
Represent the company at trade shows, client meetings, and industry events.
Use CRM software to track sales activities, outreach, and performance metrics.
Represent the company with professionalism, integrity, and a customer-first mindset.
Minimum Qualifications:
Demonstrated success in sales, ideally in compost, mulch, soils, or aggregate products.
Strong communication and relationship-building skills with a consultative sales approach.
Experience using CRM systems (Salesforce or NetSuite preferred).
Background in turf management, soil science, or agricultural sciences is a plus.
Ability and willingness to travel regularly (2–3 days per week) across North Carolina.
Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
Bachelor’s degree preferred.
