Activities Coordinator - Senior Living Community

Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, organize, and facilitate engaging daily activities and recreational therapies tailored to residents’ interests and abilities
- Assess residents’ needs and preferences to develop personalized activity plans
- Foster a warm, inclusive, and supportive environment that encourages social interaction and participation
- Collaborate with staff and family members to ensure activities align with residents’ health and wellness goals
- Monitor and document residents’ participation and progress in activities
- Maintain a safe and clean activity space, adhering to all safety protocols
- Stay informed about best practices in senior recreation and therapeutic activities
Skills and Qualifications:
- Previous experience in activity planning, recreational therapy, or a related field preferred
- Genuine compassion and enthusiasm for working with seniors
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to organize and manage multiple activities simultaneously
- Creativity and adaptability in designing engaging programs
- Knowledge of senior health and wellness considerations is a plus
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications in recreational therapy or related areas are advantageous
