Assistant Nurse Manager - Special Procedures - Cath Lab/IR and Endoscopy
Hours: 40.00 per week
Position Summary
Applies the nursing process with patients and families, integrating principles that reflect sensitivity to their age-specific/developmental needs, gender, culture, religion, psychosocial, and socioeconomic backgrounds to provide evidence-based, holistic care. Practices professional nursing as a registered nurse within the legal and ethical framework established by the Connecticut Nurse Practice Act and the American Nurses Association Scope and Standards for Nursing Practice and Code for Nurses.
Minimum Requirements:
- Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of Connecticut
- BSN (Bachelor of Science in Nursing)
- Critical Care, ER, or OR experience
- Previous leadership, supervisory, or charge nurse experience
Preferred Requirements:
- Master's degree in Nursing, Education, or a related field (or willingness to begin within one year of hire)
- 3 years of RN experience in cardiac, Cath Lab, IR, or Endoscopy
- Two or more years of supervisory or management experience
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification
