BARISTA
About the Role
This is a pre-opening hire, our coffee shop is scheduled to open early October.
We're looking for a barista who makes people feel welcome the moment they walk in. We've invested in high-end equipment and we'll teach you everything you need to know about pulling shots, steaming milk, and building the perfect cup what we can't teach is warmth, care, and genuine hospitality. If you already have that, we want to meet you.
Great customer service, a positive attitude, and a real sense of teamwork matter more to us than a resume full of barista jobs.
What You'll Do
• Greet every customer like they're the most important person in the shop that day
• Take and prepare orders accurately, with care and consistency every drink, every time
• Learn our espresso equipment, drink recipes, and quality standards (full training provided)
• Keep your station, tools, and equipment clean and well-maintained throughout your shift
• Handle busy rushes and the occasional tough customer with patience and composure
• Support your teammates cover a station, jump in during a rush, keep the vibe positive
• Handle cash and POS transactions accurately

Requirements
• Must be 16 years or older
• Available to work at least 15hrs/week including evenings and weekends
• Comfortable standing for a full shift (4–8 hours) and lifting up to 25–30 lbs
• Basic math skills for cash handling
• State of Texas food handlers permit
• Love of coffee
Nice to Have (Not Required)
• Previous customer service or food service experience
• Prior coffee shop or barista experience
