SFE Engineering is seeking an Entry Level Building Inspector to join our dedicated team in Flushing. Responsibilities

  • Prepare inspection reports and maintain accurate records
  • Stay updated on building codes and regulations
  • Assist senior inspectors with complex inspections
  • Communicate effectively with various stakeholders, including clients and city officials

Requirements

  • A high school diploma or equivalent; a degree in architecture, engineering, or a related field is a plus
  • Strong attention to detail and observational skills
  • Basic understanding of building codes and construction practices
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work well in a team environment
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Willingness to learn and develop within the field
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
