Cyber Security Analyst

Position Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Cyber Security Analyst to join our First Line of Defense (1LoD) team. In this role, you will work closely with a senior cybersecurity specialist in a collaborative, knowledge-rich environment.

The primary focus of this position will be threat hunting, security data analysis, and early detection of cyber threats . The successful candidate will analyze security telemetry, identify patterns and anomalies, uncover hidden threats, and contribute to strengthening the organization's overall security posture and protecting its digital assets.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in threat hunting, Security Operations Center (SOC) analysis, or cyber threat intelligence.
• Strong understanding of the MITRE ATT&CK Framework , cyber kill chain models, and adversary emulation.
• Experience with SIEM platforms such as CrowdStrike, Microsoft Sentinel, or IBM QRadar .
• Experience with EDR tools such as CrowdStrike Falcon or Microsoft Defender .
• Experience with email protection and security systems such as Mimecast, Microsoft Defender, or Microsoft Purview .
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret large datasets and identify patterns, anomalies, and potential threats.
• Basic scripting knowledge in Python and/or PowerShell for automation and data parsing.
• Excellent analytical, investigative, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Preferred Certifications (Must have at least 3 from below)

• CompTIA Security+
• CompTIA CySA+
• GIAC Security Essentials (GSEC)
• Certified SOC Analyst (CSA)
• Microsoft SC-200 Security Operations Analyst Associate
