Now Hiring: Distribution Dispatcher (Full-Time) – Ice Express
Ice Express is seeking a highly organized, fast-paced Distribution Dispatcher to join our growing team. We operate 7 days a week with multiple trucks, drivers, and high call volume-this role is critical to keeping our operation running smoothly and efficiently.
Position Overview
As a Dispatcher, you will be the central point of communication between our customers and drivers. Your primary focus will be ensuring we consistently meet our two key service goals:
1-Hour Service Response
On-Time Delivery Execution
You will play a vital role in coordinating deliveries, supporting drivers, and maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
Answer and manage multiple phone lines; respond to customer inquiries promptly and professionally
Able to work Saturdays and Sundays as required.
Accurately enter and record customer orders in the software system.
Dispatch and route drivers efficiently to maximize productivity and profitability
Maintain constant communication with drivers and customers regarding delivery status
Prioritize and adjust deliveries and assignments in real-time
Track and manage driver inventory using company software and systems
Coordinate daily logistics to ensure timely and accurate deliveries
Support drivers in completing assignments and resolving issues in the field
Schedule & Requirements
Full-time position (minimum 40 hours per week)
Pay range $18 to $20.00
Must be available to work a flexible schedule
Operations run 7 days a week from 7:00 AM – 8:00 PM
A dispatcher must always be on duty, so flexibility is required
