We are seeking an experienced Epic Healthy Planet Analyst to join our healthcare IT team on a remote W2 contract basis. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in Epic Healthy Planet, population health workflows, system configuration, testing, implementation, and production support. This individual will collaborate with clinical, operational, and technical stakeholders to design, build, optimize, and support Epic Healthy Planet solutions.
Key ResponsibilitiesProvide Epic Healthy Planet application design, build, configuration, testing, and implementation expertise.
Collaborate with business and clinical stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into functional system solutions.
Configure and enhance Epic Healthy Planet workflows in accordance with organizational standards and best practices.
Lead medium to large-scale Epic upgrades, enhancements, and optimization initiatives.
Analyze workflows, troubleshoot application issues, and recommend process improvements.
Develop and maintain system design documents, build documentation, testing scripts, and support materials.
Participate in unit testing, integrated testing, system testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
Monitor application performance and provide production support.
Troubleshoot and resolve application issues, escalating complex problems when necessary.
Support software upgrades, release validation, and change management activities.
Partner with training teams to develop and maintain end-user training materials.
Participate in on-call support rotations as required.
5+ years of Epic application analyst experience.
Active and current Epic Healthy Planet Certification .
Current Epic NVT (New Version Training) and CEE (Continued Epic Education) compliance.
Strong experience with Epic design, build, testing, implementation, and support.
Experience gathering business requirements and translating them into functional specifications.
Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
Healthcare industry experience required.
Experience supporting population health, care management, and value-based care initiatives.
Experience with Epic upgrades and optimization projects.
Familiarity with healthcare reporting and analytics workflows.
Experience working in large healthcare systems or integrated delivery networks.
