Job Description

IAM Engineer Location: Sacramento CA can be remote too but people from Pacific Time Zone.

Note from client: looking for someone with more Saviynt and consulting knowledge. We are seeking an experienced Identity & Access Management (IAM) Lead with 15+ years of IAM experience to architect, lead, and deliver large-scale IAM programs for enterprise clients.

The role focuses on designing and implementing global Saviynt solutions, leading delivery teams, and driving successful client outcomes. This is a hands-on consulting role requiring strong solution architecture skills, delivery leadership, and the ability to build trusted executive-level relationships.

This role is ideal for a seasoned IAM leader who can architect solutions, lead engagements, drive delivery excellence, and build trusted executive relationships to ensure successful IAM transformation outcomes.

Required skills:

• Core IAM Expertise
• Minimum of 10+ years of IAM experience with deep hands-on and architectural knowledge
• Strong experience in Saviynt (IGA, PAM, CIEM) with global or complex deployments
• Knowledge of Entra ID, CyberArk, and other IAM/AM platforms
• Experience integrating IAM solutions with HR systems, directories, cloud services, and business apps

Architecture & Delivery Excellence

• Proven ability to architect IAM solutions across hybrid and multi-cloud environments
• Demonstrated leadership delivering large IAM transformation programs
• Strong coordination skills across engineering, architecture, and operations teams

Business & Consulting Acumen

• Strong communication skills with ability to influence senior stakeholders
• Experience supporting pre-sales, solution design, and proposal development
• Understanding of regulatory standards and IAM governance models

Preferred Qualifications

• Certifications in Saviynt, Microsoft EntraID, or CyberArk
• Experience working with global delivery teams
• Knowledge of emerging IAM trends such as ITDR and identity analytics

Soft Skills

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to communicate with technical and business stakeholders.
• Independent ownership mindset with proactive improvement attitude.
• Experience working directly with vendors and vendor support teams.

Nice to have skills: Global deployment experience
