We have openings for Inside Sales/Account Manager in the Research Triangle Park area of North Carolina.

We are seeking a highly motivated individual to join our team as an Inside Sales/Account Manager.

Role Expectation

The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing (by telephone, fax, or email) RFQs (Requests For Quotations), POs (Purchase Orders), and LTs (Lead Time) from customers. Support customers and sales representatives. Coordinates with other departments within RFHIC USA, LLC to handle purchase orders and provide products/services to customers. Performs duties with the sales/marketing department, where managing customer relationships is a prime responsibility.

 

Responsibilities

  • Receives telephone/email requests for price quotations, purchase orders, order changes, adjustments, and cancellations directly from customers, original equipment manufacturers, and distributors. Achieves and maintains rapport with customers and works to give them the best possible service.
  • Retrieve customer information, stock status information, and the status of purchase orders, and make changes to customer purchase orders. Ensures that correct codes are used for retrieving and inputting information.
  • Follows up on inquiries. Works closely with the expeditor in production control regarding scheduled deliveries.
  • Prepares forms for price quotations, purchase orders, and invoices.
  • Managing database of transactions.
  • Checks with the credit department concerning the credit status of customers when rush orders are received.
  • Maintains files of active orders and posts activity such as change notices, scheduling changes, partial shipments, and credit changes. Prepares paperwork (original purchase order, copies of invoice, and return goods memo) to be given to the accounting department for credit or debit to be issued.
  • Be responsible for maintaining good customer relations. Generally, deals with representatives and customers concerning matters that require some tact and resourcefulness. Contacts with other personnel, including engineering and manufacturing departments.
  • Handles government orders.
  • Ships and handles of products coming from our suppliers and to our customers.
  • Limited travel required (10%+).

  • Experience with MS Office.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Demonstrated ability to deal with customers.

  • Meticulous.

Qualifications

  • 0 – 3 years of experience in customer service, sales support, or account management

 

Education Requirement

  • Associate Degree or B.A.
  • B.S. (preferred).

Legal Requirement

  • US Citizen or Green Card Holder ONLY (to support ITAR / Federal business).

  • $55K - $75K per year
