Job Description

LSG , an impact agency specializing in brand building, corporate reputation management, and public affairs, seeks a Paid Media   intern. If you thrive on variety, take pride in your craft, and want to see your work make a tangible difference, this role is made for you. 

Our internship program offers recent graduates and college students up to 30 hours a week of hands-on experience working in the firm's paid media practice. You'll work across a diverse portfolio of clients and issues, with real opportunities to grow. We move fast, care deeply about the work, and invest in people who show up ready to contribute. 

Interns work in person at our downtown DC office. This fall internship will run from August 31 to December 11. Hourly Rate: $23.00 per hour.

Responsibilities may include:

  • Traffic digital advertising campaigns in variety of self-serve ad platforms, including Meta, Google Ads, LinkedIn, X (Twitter), and Campaign Manager 360 
  • Draft IO requests for managed service platforms 
  • Learn how to track vendor payments 
  • Upload digital assets to self-serve ad platforms, updating and maintaining them as needed 
  • Pace active campaigns to ensure spending is in line with approved budgets 
  • Perform research and other administrative duties, as necessary 

Qualifications:

  • College junior or senior, recent graduate, or graduate student with an interest in political science, communications, marketing, public policy, or related fields
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills
  • Demonstrated ability to anticipate and effectively communicate and solve practical problems or issues
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Working knowledge of digital advertising platforms including Meta, Google Ads, and Campaign Manager 360 preferred, but not required 
  • Working knowledge of media planning preferred, but not required
  • Passion for government affairs, technology, and digital media
  • Flexibility and willingness to learn 
  • Prior experience at an agency in communications, public affairs, marketing, and/or relevant political campaign/government experience preferred
