Pay: $50,000-$62,000

Job Description:

Addison Group is seeking a detail-oriented Investigator to support a legal team focused on personal injury matters. This role is responsible for conducting comprehensive research, gathering documentation, and analyzing information related to active cases. The Investigator will collaborate with attorneys and internal staff to organize findings that assist in evaluating claims and preparing cases for settlement or litigation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct detailed research and investigations related to personal injury cases
  • Review and analyze police reports, incident documentation, and related records
  • Interview witnesses or involved parties to gather additional case information
  • Retrieve records from law enforcement agencies, government offices, and other sources
  • Research insurance policies and coverage to identify potential liability and claim options
  • Utilize investigative databases to locate criminal, civil, and driving records
  • Draft written summaries, investigative findings, and documentation for attorneys
  • Prepare correspondence related to record requests and case documentation
  • Organize and compile investigative materials into clear reports for legal review
  • Coordinate with attorneys and case managers to support case strategy and priorities
  • Visit incident locations or conduct in-person information gathering when needed
  • Maintain accurate documentation while handling sensitive and confidential information

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice, Legal Studies, or a related field, or equivalent experience
  • Experience in investigations, insurance claims, legal support, or law enforcement is preferred
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a high attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple cases and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and investigative or research databases
  • Comfortable working independently while collaborating with a legal team
