Clinical Lab Scientist / Medical Lab Technologist – Commerce Township, Michigan

Pay Rate: $1,640/week

Location: Commerce Township

Contract Length: 13 Weeks

⏰ Shift: Mid Shift (3:00 PM – 11:00 PM) | 5x8 Hours

Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Clinical Lab Scientist / Medical Lab Technologist to join a dynamic healthcare facility in Commerce Township, MI. This role is essential in performing laboratory testing, analyzing specimens, and delivering accurate results to support patient diagnosis and treatment.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform laboratory testing on blood, body fluids, tissues, and cells
• Analyze and interpret test results with accuracy
• Operate laboratory equipment including microscopes, analyzers, and cell counters
• Crossmatch blood for transfusions
• Ensure timely and accurate reporting of results to physicians
• Maintain quality control and adhere to laboratory protocols
• Follow all safety and compliance standards

Required Qualifications

• Clinical Lab Scientist (CLS) or Medical Lab Technologist (MLT) certification
• Strong knowledge of laboratory procedures and equipment
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
