Role Description

This is a remote contract role for a Litigation Attorney. The chosen candidate will be responsible for drafting and filing legal motions, preparing for trials, conducting depositions, and representing clients in court. Additional responsibilities may include providing legal advice, analyzing case law, and collaborating with the legal team to develop case strategies.

Qualifications

• Strong proficiency in Law, including an understanding of legal principles and procedures
• Experience in drafting and filing Motions
• Familiarity with Courts, including courtroom procedures and legal documentation
• Proven experience with Trials and effective trial preparation
• Proficiency in taking and defending Depositions
• Exceptional research, analytical, and written communication skills
• Juris Doctor (JD) degree and membership in the relevant State Bar
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment and meet deadlines
• Experience in intellectual property or commercial litigation is a plus
