 This on-site contract position offers a unique opportunity to work with a passionate team committed to providing exceptional neonatal care.

As a Locum MD in Neonatology, you will play a critical role in the management and treatment of newborns requiring specialized medical attention. Your expertise will directly impact the health and development of infants in our care. Collaborating closely with a multidisciplinary team, you will ensure the highest standards of patient care in a supportive environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive neonatology services to critically ill newborns
• Conduct thorough assessments and diagnoses for neonatal patients
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
• Collaborate with nursing staff and other healthcare professionals
• Monitor patient conditions and adjust treatments as necessary
• Participate in discussions and rounds with the healthcare team
• Maintain accurate medical records and comply with healthcare regulations
• Provide guidance and support to family members of patients

Requirements

• MD degree from an accredited medical school
• Current board certification in Pediatrics with a Neonatology subspecialty
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a clinical setting, ideally neonatology
• Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Commitment to high-quality patient care and outcomes
• Valid medical license to practice in the state of operation

Schedule: Schedule: 7:30a-5:30p or 5:30p-7:30a

68-bed Level IV NICU

Daily Volume: 15 patients

Preferred Procedures: ECMO

Support Staff: 3 APPs and 1 neonatal fellow

EMR: Epic

Must be board-certified

Level IV and Level III experience required

Paid travel & expenses
