Job Title: Cybersecurity Analyst (TS/SCI Cleared)
Location: Ft. Huachuca, Sierra Vista, AZ
Position Type: Full-time, Direct Hire
Salary Range: $100-105,000 (negotiable based on experience)
Summary:
Verigent's client is seeking a Cybersecurity Analyst to support risk management and system security compliance activities across enterprise IT environments. This role is responsible for vulnerability management, DISA STIG compliance validation, and RMF security control assessments for servers, workstations, and networked systems. The ideal candidate will possess hands-on technical knowledge of multiple platforms (Windows, Linux, Cisco, VMware) and experience using security tools such as ACAS/Nessus and eMASS.
Responsibilities:
• Develop and maintain risk assessments to identify and mitigate security risks.
• Apply hands-on technical knowledge across IT platforms, including Windows Server, Windows workstations, Red Hat Linux, Cisco technologies, and VMware infrastructure.
• Review vulnerability scan results, track findings, and coordinate with system administrators to remediate identified vulnerabilities.
• Perform DISA STIG compliance validation and support security hardening activities.
• Execute vulnerability management processes and drive remediation efforts on servers and workstations.
• Monitor and track IAVAs, ensuring systems meet minimum compliant software version requirements.
• Utilize security tools such as ACAS / Nessus for vulnerability scanning and assessment.
• Support security authorization activities using eMASS.
• Validate and assess RMF security controls to maintain compliance.
• Develop and maintain documentation, including Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and System Security Plans (SSPs).
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree with 2-4 years of relevant experience, or a Master’s degree with at least 1 year of related experience. Equivalent direct experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
• Experience in network and/or server administration.
• Maintain an active CompTIA Security+ certification (IAT Level II or higher).
• Active TS/SCI clearance.
