Careerscape is recruiting on behalf of our client for an entry-level Live Chat Representative to join their growing remote customer support team. Day to day, you will juggle multiple chat windows, answer product and account questions, and help customers resolve issues quickly and pleasantly, all through a friendly, professional writing voice. Responsibilities

• Respond promptly to inbound customer chats through the company live chat platform
• Handle multiple simultaneous chat conversations while maintaining quality and accuracy
• Answer questions about products, services, orders, and account details
• Troubleshoot basic issues and escalate complex cases to the appropriate team
• Document customer interactions and update records in the CRM system
• Follow brand voice and communication guidelines in every chat
• Identify opportunities to upsell or cross-sell relevant products or services
• Meet individual and team performance targets for response time and satisfaction
• Stay current on product updates, promotions, and policy changes
• Collaborate with team leads to improve chat scripts and processes

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• No prior experience necessary, though customer service experience is a plus
• Excellent written communication skills with strong grammar and spelling
• Typing speed of at least 40 words per minute
• Comfortable using computers, chat software, and basic CRM tools
• Ability to multitask across several conversations at once
• Reliable high-speed internet connection and a quiet home workspace
• Strong problem-solving skills and a patient, positive attitude
• Availability to work scheduled shifts, including some evenings or weekends
