Role Overview
Express Pro's is currently seeking a high-caliber Master Scheduler to join our client's growing operations team. In this pivotal role, you will be the primary architect of their production timeline, balancing strategic demand forecasting with real-time capacity management. You will serve as the central hub between Sales, Engineering, and Supply Chain to ensure our manufacturing output meets customer commitments with precision.
Core Responsibilities
* Strategic Scheduling: Create and manage comprehensive daily, weekly, and monthly production plans based on inventory levels, sales forecasts, and firm orders.
* Capacity & Demand Analysis: Perform deep-dive capacity planning to identify constraints, evaluate equipment utilization, and forecast labor requirements.
* Cross-Functional Collaboration: Lead regular meetings with stakeholders in Marketing and Engineering to align production capabilities with market trends.
* System Management: Maintain and optimize planning parameters within our ERP/MRP systems, ensuring data integrity and reporting accuracy.
* Performance Tracking: Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to drive operational excellence and lean manufacturing initiatives.
* Risk Mitigation: Proactively monitor material availability and supply chain risks, escalating potential bottlenecks before they impact delivery.
Candidate Qualifications
* Education: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Business, or a related field (relevant professional experience also considered).
* Experience: 5–7 years of dedicated experience in production planning and scheduling within a manufacturing environment.
* Technical Expertise: Advanced proficiency in ERP/MRP software and Advanced Planning & Scheduling (APS) tools.
* Certification: APICS CPIM or CSCP certification is highly preferred.
* Operational Knowledge: Strong foundation in Lean Manufacturing principles and forecasting methodologies.
