As a Security Officer Screener in Lexington KY you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom and more. What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees visitors and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities appropriate to the location.
• Screen individuals bags packages and/or materials entering or leaving the location in accordance with site procedures and report unusual findings or policy concerns to site leadership.
• Monitor entry points verify credentials and/or visitor authorizations and help to deter unauthorized access in a professional problem-solving manner.
• Respond to incidents alarms and critical situations in a calm manner documenting observations and communicating with supervisors and/or local responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around designated areas and the perimeter noting security-related concerns that could impact operations at a busy technology location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• CPR and/or First Aid experience is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
