Job Description

The Social Media & Content Manager owns FTL UTD's organic social presence across Instagram, TikTok, X (Twitter), Facebook, and YouTube - creating content that grows our fanbase, engages the South Florida community, and builds the most passionate supporter culture in the USL.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute the organic social media content calendar across all platforms
  • Create, shoot, and edit short-form video content daily (Reels, TikTok, YouTube Shorts)
  • Write compelling bilingual (English/Spanish) copy for all social posts
  • Cover live match days on-site for real-time social content
  • Engage with fans, supporters groups, and community accounts
  • Monitor trends and identify timely content opportunities
  • Collaborate with Video, Design, and PR teams on campaign-level content
  • Report weekly on organic reach, follower growth, and engagement metrics

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of social media management experience
  • Strong content creation skills: can shoot and edit vertical video independently
  • Native understanding of Instagram, TikTok, X, and YouTube algorithm dynamics
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) strongly preferred

Preferred

  • Passion for soccer and familiarity with South Florida's Latin sports culture
  • Experience growing an account from under 10K followers
  • Photography skills

This is a hands-on, in-person role in a fast-paced, high-growth environment. Candidates should be prepared to work approximately 60 hours per week across six days and thrive in a culture built on hard work, accountability, and opportunity.

Compensation

Salary range: $28,000 - $36,400, depending on experience. Eligible for performance bonus tied to audience growth, engagement, content performance, ticket sales, and achievement of key organizational marketing objectives.
