This position requires an active TS/SCI full-scope polygraph clearance.
The Customer seeks a Sr. Software Engineer with solid knowledge of Geospatial Information Systems (GIS) and mobile apps. The role involves supporting the program manager with operational and database support, collaborating with other teams, briefing customers, and developing complex technical solutions. The work will be performed within a team environment, requiring concept development and execution skills to manage a fast-paced workload.Scope of Work:Translate operational needs into technical requirements with customers
2. Track program progress, risks, issues, and dependencies
3. Serve as a geospatial technology and mobile Subject Matter Expert (SME)
4. Support technical meetings with vendors and provide technical advice
5. Integrate geospatial mission data within an enterprise web application
6. Develop mobile applications for Android and iOS
7. Develop Windows and Linux application releases using the Electron framework
8. Manage software development activities with small teams
9. Define functional requirements, concept of operations, and UI/UX design with customers
10. Track development sprints using JIRA
11. Manage source code in GitHub and GitLab
12. Develop test plans
13. Provide technical support and training to a broad client base
14. Understand emerging technical trends
15. Support technical operationsRole:Demonstrated experience with solid knowledge of Geospatial Information Systems (GIS) applications and services.
2. Demonstrated ability to develop Android/iOS mobile applications using React, including proficiency with Visual Studio Code, Android Studio, Xcode, Nodejs, and JavaScript.
3. Demonstrated experience developing Windows and Linux application releases using the Electron framework.
4. Demonstrated experience working with small teams to manage software development activities.
5. Demonstrated experience working with customers to define functional requirements, concept of operations, and UI/UX design.
6. Demonstrated experience managing iterative software development releases.
7. Demonstrated experience tracking development sprints using JIRA.
8. Demonstrated experience managing source code in GitHub and GitLab.
9. Demonstrated experience developing test plans.
10. Demonstrated experience providing technical support and training to a broad client base.
11. Demonstrated experience understanding emerging technical trends.
12. Demonstrated experience in software engineering and development.
