Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Title Landman-Office role based in Youngstown, OH. The Title Landman will perform detailed title research, verify ownership records, examine property titles, identify encumbrances or restrictions, prepare title acquisition reports, and maintain accurate documentation. The role will also involve analyzing legal property descriptions, interpreting survey data, and liaising with landowners, clients, and legal teams as needed. Strong attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines is essential.

Qualifications

  • Expertise in title research, title examination, and interpretation of legal property descriptions
  • Experience in land leasing, abstracting, and reviewing drill site titles
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills for client correspondence and reporting
  • High proficiency in record-keeping, document analysis, and preparing title reports
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with landowners, clients, and team members
  • Proficiency in relevant software and databases used for title and land records
  • Bachelor's degree in Land Management, Real Estate, Business Administration, Law, or a related field is preferred
  • Knowledge of renewable energy projects (solar and wind) is a plus
  • Familiarity with local land laws and regulations in Ohio
  • A valid driver’s license and ability to travel within the Youngstown
