Administers standardized screening tools, collaborates with families and school staff, and maintains accurate records to ensure compliance with state and district guidelines.

Serves as a key liaison between families and the Child Outreach Program across the local education agencies which service the Scituate, Glocester, and Foster-Glocester Region School Departments.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: 1. Screening Administration: Conduct developmental screenings using standardized tools (e.g., ESI-P/K, PLS-5, ASQ-2, vision, and hearing assessments) for children ages 3-5.Administer rescreens as needed per the screening schedule.2. Family Interaction: Deals courteously and effectively with parents and children.3. Record Keeping and Reporting: Score screenings and complete summaries, returning to the Early Childhood Coordinator or Child Outreach support staff at the conclusion of the screening.4.

Screening Logistics: May assist with the setup of screening spaces, ensuring materials and tools are organized and ready..5. Collaboration: Provide feedback regarding screening sessions with the Early Childhood Coordinator or the Child Outreach support staff.6. Training and Compliance: Maintain proficiency in screening tools and stay updated on Rhode Island. Child Outreach screening guidelines.Ensure all screenings adhere to state and federal guidelines for confidentiality and data protection.7.

Community Outreach: Assist in promoting screening events to families and community partners.Support distribution of screening schedules and informational materials to preschools and families.8. Additional Duties: Perform other Child Outreach-related tasks as directed by the Coordinator.
