At Rise Academy, we believe math is about solving problems, thinking critically, discovering patterns, and building confidence that lasts far beyond the classroom. We are seeking an exceptional Math Teacher who can transform equations into opportunities, inspire students to tackle challenges with perseverance, and show young people how mathematics connects to the world around them.

If you are the type of educator who can make Algebra engaging, Geometry meaningful, and Physics come alive through real-world application, we want to meet you. Join a passionate team of educators dedicated to helping students uncover their God-given potential while preparing them for success in college, career, and life.

This is more than a teaching position—it's an opportunity to make a lasting impact on students who will remember not just what you taught them, but how you helped them believe in themselves.

Student Support & Development

  • Differentiate instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners.
  • Provide intervention and enrichment opportunities to support student achievement.
  • Communicate regularly with students and families regarding academic progress.
  • Support students in developing confidence, critical thinking skills, and independent learning habits.

Professional Responsibilities

  • Participate in faculty meetings, professional development, and school events.

  • Contribute to the spiritual, academic, and cultural life of the school.
  • Uphold the mission, values, and Christian identity of Rise Academy.

What We Offer

  • Competitive salary based on experience and qualifications.
  • Comprehensive benefits package.
  • Supportive and collaborative faculty culture.
  • Opportunities for professional growth and leadership.
  • Small class sizes that allow meaningful relationships with students.
  • The opportunity to make a lasting impact in the lives of students and families in Richmond’s East End.

Base salary of $49,701.54 for a full-year contract
