Active Recovery Network
Clinical Case Manager & Therapeutic Coach
Now hiring in San Diego.
Active Recovery Network is seeking a Clinical Case Manager & Therapeutic Coach to join our growing team. If you’re a clinically-savvy, badass coach who is a highly relational professional who wants to do meaningful, real-world work outside of traditional treatment settings, this may be a strong fit.
Since 2012, Active Recovery Network has been San Diego’s go-to provider for in-home therapeutic coaching and case management. We support adolescents and adults navigating mental health challenges, substance use, and major life transitions by bringing structure, accountability, and support directly into their everyday lives.
This is not a typical clinical role. Our work happens in homes, communities, and real-life environments where change actually occurs.
The role:
You will serve as the primary point of support and change agent for clients and families. This includes providing in-home coaching, case management, care coordination, and skill-building focused on helping clients build functional, stable, and meaningful lives.
You’ll work both independently and collaboratively, supporting clients in developing practical life skills, improving mental health and recovery behaviors, and integrating into their communities.
This role is ideal for someone who is self-directed, adaptable, and thrives in dynamic, non-traditional environments.
Position details:
Part-time to start, with the opportunity to grow into a full caseload over several months
Flexible schedule based on client needs
In-person work throughout San Diego County (reliable transportation required)
Full-time benefits available at 30 hours/week
Compensation:
$35–$45 per hour, depending on experience
Qualifications:
Master’s degree in a related field required
Minimum of 5 years of experience in mental health, substance use, or related fields
Strong clinical judgment and ability to work independently
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
Team-oriented with a high level of accountability
Why Active Recovery Network
Work outside the walls of traditional treatment
Build meaningful, long-term relationships with clients and families
Be part of a respected, provider-trusted organization serving San Diego since 2012
Make a tangible impact in clients’ everyday lives
