Job Description

Office Manager

Contract: 6-9 months, work through EOY

Location: Albany, NY 12205- onsite M-F

Required Skills & Experience

  • Experience managing an office environment
  • Strong computer skills including experience with Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Communicate and coordinate with other offices, acting as a liaison if escalations are needed
  • Manage day-to-day office inventory including buying, stocking, organizing supplies
  • Provide assistance with shipping paperwork or items via FedEx
  • Experience utilizing Concur for travel booking, expense reports, etc.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong work ethic, time management skills, and can-do attitude
  • Reliable transportation to & from work with a valid Driver’s License
  • Ability to work onsite 5 days/week

Job Description

  • One of North America’s largest and most respected engineering and construction companies is looking for an Office Manager to support a large energy project in New York. This role will require strong computer skills including Microsoft Office and Excel as well as Concur for travel booking and expenses. You will be managing and stocking day-to-day office inventory and be a liaison to communicate with other offices. You will assist with shipping requests via FedEx and be available as ad-hoc needs arise. We are looking for a team player with reliable transportation who can start immediately. The ideal candidate has a strong work ethic, time management skills, and can-do attitude. This is a contract position requiring 5 days onsite in Albany, NY.
