$85K–$115K + Bonus Potential

About the Opportunity

We’re seeking a Mechanical Engineer (Plumbing) with 5+ years of experience to support the design and delivery of plumbing systems across a diverse range of projects. This is a production-focused role with strong exposure to project coordination, client interaction, and mentorship opportunities.

Work remotely from home while collaborating with a high-performing, multidisciplinary team—and step into a clear path toward senior-level responsibilities.

What You’ll Do

• Design plumbing systems including domestic water, sanitary, storm, and specialty systems
• Perform pipe sizing, fixture unit calculations, and system layouts
• Develop construction documents using Revit
• Select and specify plumbing equipment and fixtures
• Coordinate with mechanical, electrical, structural, and architectural teams
• Participate in client meetings and occasional site visits (local)
• Support construction administration and field coordination
• Ensure compliance with IPC, UPC, and local codes
• Mentor junior staff and contribute to QA/QC efforts

What You Bring

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering (or related field)
• 5+ years of plumbing design experience (required)
• Strong proficiency in Revit
• Solid knowledge of plumbing codes and system design
• Experience collaborating with clients and project teams
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment

Nice to Have

• Medical gas (med gas) experience
• EIT or PE (or in progress)
• Experience with project coordination or light PM responsibilities
