Sodexo Live! is seeking dependable, motivated, and team-oriented   Food Prep Helpers   to support culinary operations within the premium   Alaska Airlines Lounge   at Seattle-Tacoma International Airport.

This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy working in a fast-paced kitchen environment, take pride in food preparation and cleanliness, and are passionate about creating exceptional guest experiences through quality service and teamwork. As part of our lounge team, you'll help deliver fresh, high-quality food offerings that reflect the hospitality and excellence Alaska Airlines guests have come to expect.

Schedule:

• Open availability preferred.
• Shifts may include early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Schedule may vary based on operational needs.

Your Impact:

As a Food Prep Helper, you will play an essential role in supporting culinary operations by:

• Assisting culinary teams with food preparation and kitchen support tasks.
• Maintaining clean, sanitized, and organized work areas.
• Supporting efficient kitchen operations during busy service periods.
• Contributing to a safe, welcoming, and team-focused work environment.
• Helping ensure guests enjoy a premium lounge dining experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Read recipes and product directions to assist with the preparation of hot and cold food items.
• Prepare ingredients using a variety of kitchen utensils and equipment.
• Assist with basic cooking tasks, including preparing vegetables, proteins, salads, and buffet offerings.
• Clean and sanitize workstations, kitchen equipment, and production areas.
• Maintain organization and cleanliness throughout kitchen and prep areas.
• Support culinary and service teams during peak operational periods.
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety guidelines.
• Report to scheduled shifts on time and maintain reliable attendance.
• Perform additional duties as assigned based on operational needs and client requirements.

What We're Looking For:

• Two (2) years of related experience in hospitality, food service, catering, or similar environments preferred.
• Team-oriented with a positive and adaptable attitude.
• Reliable, detail-focused, and able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Commitment to maintaining a safe, clean, and organized work environment.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Professional demeanor with a guest-service mindset.
• Ability to thrive in a premium hospitality setting where service excellence matters.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods during shifts.
• Frequent bending, reaching, lifting, and repetitive motion tasks.
• Ability to lift and move supplies and kitchen items as needed.
• Comfortable working in varying kitchen temperatures and fast-paced environments.
