Job Description

LaSalle Network is hiring on behalf of a rapidly growing, technology-focused law firm expanding nationally through strategic mergers and acquisitions. Due to growth, we are seeking a Senior Executive Recruiter  to join the Chicago talent team.

As the firm continues their aggressive growth trajectory, they are seeking a highly strategic and relationship-driven Senior Executive Recruiter to lead executive-level talent acquisition initiatives across the organization. This individual will play a critical role in identifying, attracting, and securing top-tier leadership talent to support continued expansion, integration, and long-term business growth.

Position Summary:
The Senior Executive Recruiter will lead full-cycle executive recruiting efforts for senior leadership, partner-level, and highly specialized professional roles across the firm. This individual must bring deep experience recruiting within professional services environments, with a strong preference for candidates who understand the pace and complexity of mergers and acquisitions-driven growth.

The ideal candidate is both strategic and hands-on, capable of operating as a trusted advisor to executive leadership while managing complex searches in a fast-paced, evolving organization. This role requires exceptional stakeholder management, executive presence, market intelligence, and the ability to build strong pipelines of high-performing talent.

Senior Executive Recruiter Responsibilities:
  • Lead end-to-end executive recruiting efforts for partner, attorney, operational leadership, and other senior-level positions.

  • Develop and execute proactive talent acquisition strategies aligned with the firm’s growth and M&A objectives.

  • Build and maintain strong pipelines of executive and specialized professional services talent.

  • Conduct market mapping, competitive intelligence, and talent landscape analysis to support strategic hiring initiatives.

  • Source passive candidates through networking, referrals, research, and direct outreach.

  • Manage all aspects of the executive search process, including intake meetings, sourcing strategies, candidate evaluation, interview coordination, offer negotiation, and onboarding support.

  • Ensure a high-touch, white-glove candidate experience throughout the recruitment lifecycle.

  • Serve as a trusted advisor to firm leadership and hiring executives regarding market trends, compensation benchmarks, and hiring strategy.

  • Support talent integration initiatives tied to mergers, acquisitions, and firm expansion activities.

  • Maintain awareness of market trends impacting professional services, legal services, and M&A activity.

  • Maintain accurate recruiting metrics, reporting, and candidate tracking data.

Senior Executive Recruiter Requirements:

  • 8+ years of executive-level recruiting experience within professional services environments.

  • Bachelor’s degree required.

  • Experience recruiting within a law firm, consulting firm, accounting firm, or other professional services organization.

  • Prior experience supporting private equity-backed or acquisition-driven organizations.

  • Demonstrated experience recruiting senior leadership, executive, partner-level, or highly specialized professional talent.

  • Strong understanding of mergers and acquisitions activity and the talent implications associated with rapid organizational growth.

  • Experience supporting organizations undergoing significant expansion, transformation, or integration activity.

  • Proven success managing complex, high-touch executive searches.

  • Exceptional relationship-building and stakeholder management skills.

  • Strong business acumen and executive presence.

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and influencing abilities.

  • Ability to operate with a high degree of confidentiality, professionalism, and discretion.

  • Familiarity with legal industry recruiting trends and partner recruitment strategies.

  • Experience working in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
