About the Role:

Based in Ogden, UT with branches in the Greater Salt Lake area, we’re a fast-growing and Independently owned electrical distributor and systems integration business, specializing in complex commercial and industrial power distribution projects. Our team operates in a high-accountability, low-ego environment where professionals can grow, lead, and deliver mission-critical results.

We’re seeking a Switchgear Quotations Specialist with deep expertise in medium-voltage gear and mid-large commercial project estimation, ideally with equipment from Schneider (Square D), Siemens, Eaton, or ABB.

Compensation potential: Annual Base will be $70k-$80k per year, but annual profit sharing incentives can raise total income to well above the 6-figure range + comprehensive benefits. Annual profit sharing incentive is based upon company & personal performance - historically can range 25%-100%+ of base income.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed switchgear quotations for commercial projects, including medium-voltage equipment and custom configurations.
• Read and interpret electrical drawings, one-line diagrams, and specifications to develop accurate and competitive bids.
• Coordinate with vendors, manufacturers, and internal teams to obtain pricing, validate lead times, and ensure technical compliance.
• Manage bid documentation, RFQs, and scope reviews across multiple concurrent opportunities.
• Support sales and project teams with value-engineering options, scope clarifications, and pre-sale technical guidance.

Qualifications

• 3 - 8 years of experience quoting switchgear distribution projects (medium-voltage preferred).
• Strong working knowledge of commercial electrical systems, gear configuration, and vendor pricing processes.
• Familiarity with quoting gear from OEMs like Square D, Siemens, Eaton, or ABB.
• Exceptional attention to detail, communication skills, and ability to work independently in a fast-paced remote environment.
• 5-days on-site highly preferred. Need someone local who is comfortable commuting to Ogden, UT a few times per week to collaborate with office and warehouse staff and attend trainings.
